[Tokyo] Certified in Tokyo as a “Heart-Healing Caregiver”, Mai Tadokoro (known as Mailin) has officially launched a new initiative to bring healing to people’s hearts.
A Heart-Healing Caregiver is a professional who provides comfort by listening to others, offering empathetic responses, and asking gentle questions. Tadokoro emphasizes that she is neither a fortune-teller, nor a counselor, nor a consultant. Instead, she devotes herself entirely to “listening”—helping people who are struggling to face their own inner voices.
Sessions will begin in October, available both in-person and via Zoom, making them easily accessible regardless of location.
Expanding as an Artist and Instructor
Tadokoro’s activities extend beyond caregiving. She is also active as an artist, promoting a unique art style she calls “Self-Create”.
This involves taking copyrighted images of ukiyo-e, fine art, and digital works, and transforming them by adding her own touches to create original pieces.
She also plans to host workshops where participants can experience this creative process firsthand.
