Moto-Motoko, Vocalist of the Parenting Support Band “Oto-Gohan,” Talks About Creating a Happy World

Moto-Motoko is an artist loved by a wide range of generations, especially parents raising children. As the vocalist of the parenting support band Oto-Gohan, she delivers smiles through her heartwarming songs and unique performances—often waving a rice paddle as her trademark.

Everyone’s the Star! A “Gottani Live” for All Ages

Moto-Motoko’s concerts are what she calls “barrier-free gottani (stewpot-style) live shows,” where babies to seniors can all enjoy together.

With songs and dances themed around parenting support, cross-generational exchange, and community revitalization, her performances bring healing and energy to everyone involved.

While her main base of activities is in Itabashi City, Tokyo, she also regularly streams on the online live app Corom, expanding her reach even further.

Spreading “Happy World” to the Globe

At the heart of Moto-Motoko’s activities lies a big vision: “to spread a Happy World across the globe!” She dreams of building a world full of love and harmony, where everyone can freely express what they love. And it all begins, she says, by “making moms smile, so that everyone can smile.”
