Freelance actress, Kyoka Fukaya, is making her mark across various platforms, including as a product model, appearing on QVC, acting as an ambassador, and starring in independent films and stage plays.
She shares that her past experience working as a Certified Care Worker forms the foundation of her acting career.
Aiming for an Active Life “Unbeaten by Age”
Fukaya’s motto is “Possibility is Infinite”. Her goal is to live a joyful life, remaining mentally and physically vigorous, and her strong desire is to give energy to her peers.
Currently, she primarily works in the Tokyo area, expanding her scope of expression through various roles such as product model, QVC appearances, ambassadorships, independent films, and theatre.
Cheering with the “Tokyo Dream Angels” Senior Cheer Team
As a hobby, Ms. Fukaya is a member of the “Tokyo Dream Angels” Senior Cheer Team, an activity she’s been involved in for nearly seven years. Led by a singer-songwriter who is 70 and “might be the most energetic,” the team is made up of members of the same generation. She describes them as a wonderful group who motivate each other to prioritize beauty and health.
Care Worker Experience at the Core of Her Philosophy
With a background as a Certified Care Worker, Fukaya learned firsthand about “compassion and kindness” from many people. This experience fuels her desire to embody those same qualities. She also realized the importance of “taking care of oneself” as she ages.
With the hope of “aging gracefully,” Ms. Fukaya continues to pursue new heights in her acting career.
