Pianist Yuri, a graduate of the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia, has vigorously resumed her musical activities across Japan after a period dedicated to raising her four children.
Basing her work on classical music while incorporating original pieces, she centers her activities on “piano performances that comfort the human heart,” delivering moisture and warmth to her listeners’ souls.
Activities and Musical Aspirations
Pianist Yuri’s activities are diverse. In her piano solos, the tone of her piano speaks deeply to the listener’s inner self, transcending words. She also explores new dimensions of classical music through ensembles with various instrumentalists. Furthermore, with soprano Hiroko in their unit “Chuly,” their concept is “Lullabies for Adults,” aiming to provide deep healing and tranquility through their music.
Her goal is to “reach as many people as possible through music and bring richness to their daily lives.” She expresses a desire to deliver moments that resonate deeply with the heart, where individuals “feel comforted, shed tears, or suddenly recall the treasures they had kept hidden in their hearts.”
