Career consultant Yuri Takeda shared a recent update, reflecting on the theme of resolve and its effect on moving forward in life.
The title of her post, which translates to “Cute Shrine Maiden and Resolve, and… Good Fortune,” sets the scene for a meaningful event.
Takeda-san mentioned that she recently spoke about her “resolve” in front of her family. She noted that ever since making this decision, things in her life have started to move forward. She drew a parallel to the principles of Ayurveda, which states that “where you direct your consciousness is where things become activated.” She also mentioned that she has incorporated Ayurveda into her daily life for the past 10 years.
During a visit to a shrine on the “First Day of the Rooster” (Ichi-no-Tori), she had a pleasant interaction with a “cute shrine maiden” who purified her with a bell. Takeda-san described the maiden as having clear eyes and being very lovely, and the maiden agreed to have her photo taken.
After the purification, Takeda-san received a Kumade (rake) symbolizing good fortune and returned home with a happy feeling.
She concluded her message with an affirmation to trust in herself and to believe in “Good Fortune and the bringing of happiness,” vowing to continue moving forward. She ended with a wish for good fortune to reach all her readers.
