I had planned to visit the ginkgo trees once their leaves achieved their brilliant golden color, but when I finally went today, the peak had passed, and a significant amount of the foliage had already scattered. It’s a reminder that tomorrow marks the beginning of December. I’m now looking forward to the holiday season and wondering how many Christmas illuminations I’ll manage to see this year.
