Origami Earring Creator Joins Fundraiser for Children in Madagascar
The creator behind the popular Instagram account origami_earring0825, known as TOMONO NINO@OrigamiEarrings, recently participated in a local event on November 15th and 16th.
The event was a charity fundraiser specifically held to support children in Madagascar.
In a post detailing the experience, the creator mentioned that the neighboring booth was occupied by college students, some of whom were the same age as her daughter. The creator affectionately noted that this led her to “fuss over” them.
The event also included an interesting moment where one customer paid using both yen and dollars, described as “double currency.”
TOMONO NINO@OrigamiEarrings, who crafts handmade earrings using origami, resin, and ribbon, and emphasizes that each piece is “Only one in the world,” enjoyed participating in the local event.
