SATSUKI DOMON: FROM PRISON OFFICER TO GLOBAL EDUCATION REFORMER REINVENTS FAMILY CAREERS

TOKONAME, AICHI — Satsuki Domon is not your typical career consultant. With a background that spans the guarded walls of correctional facilities to the vibrant classrooms of junior high schools, she is now launching a global entrepreneurial venture to redefine how families approach education and self-worth. Her mission is clear: “Your value is something you create yourself.”
FROM CORRECTIONS TO CLASSROOMS
For eight years, Satsuki Domon served as a prison officer. During her tenure, she supported the life redesign of over 1,000 inmates. This intense experience provided her with a unique perspective on human resilience and the critical importance of early intervention. She witnessed firsthand that while anyone can redesign their life at any age, the foundation laid in childhood is paramount.
Today, Domon brings this depth of experience to junior high schools, where she leads career education programs. She observes that while adults often struggle with rigid mindsets, children remain incredibly flexible and receptive. Her work in schools serves as a bridge between the harsh realities of life and the boundless potential of the next generation.
THE CAREER EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION METHOD
Domon is the founder of Career Early Childhood Education, a methodology rooted in the belief that a parent’s view of their own career directly shapes a child’s future. She argues that when parents focus on their own growth and “straighten out” their family’s career path, the child’s world transforms naturally.
Her approach prioritizes the “buds of inquiry” found in early childhood. By fostering an environment where curiosity is valued over rote learning, she aims to build a generation of individuals who understand their inherent value from the start.
A GLOBAL VISION FROM TOKONAME
Based in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, Domon is now transitioning from a local expert to a global entrepreneur. Having already built a significant digital presence with over 3,300 followers, she is ready to take her “Value Re-evaluation Workshop” to the international stage.
Domon believes her message transcends borders. Whether in Japan or abroad, the struggle to find one’s place in a changing economy is universal. By empowering parents to rediscover their own professional and personal worth, she is creating a ripple effect that starts in the home and extends to the global community.
